Worick & Afflerbaugh? have purchased the hardware business of E. Uden, taking possession Saturday morning. Mr. Uden and wife being in delicate heath, will take an extended trip throughout the west to recuperate.

J. A. Swartz of the historical force of the Goodspeed Publishing Co. of Chicago, Ill, who are engaged in making a history of Adams, Clay, Hamilton and Hall counties, is stopping in this city gleaming facts for the history of this township.  He is progressing nicely in the work, securing the support and assistance of our leading enterprising citizens.  The work when completed will be a valuable acquisition to the famly library and our citizens should assist in this enterprise.
