Rebecca Crowley was born in Kentucky, Feb 16 1818. Was married in Illinois to James McPeak, July 30 1834. Removed from there to Iowa and thence to Nebraska in 1879 settling in Clay Co. Came to Fairfield in 1882. Died Jan 25 1899 leaving five sons and six daughters. Funeral services was conducted from the home yesterday, by Prof. O. C. Hubbell, assisted by Rev J B Johnson of Denver.
