In the year 1852, Nov 16, she as united in marriage to her beloved husband, whose heart is now burdened with grief and pain through the death of his dear wife. Her suffering for a long time past was very great, yet in all her pain she gave God all the glory, and was fully resigned to his ? dealings with her. Her most precious thought was the thought of Christ's presence with her. Her most intense longing was the longing to live a Christian life and through the merits of her Savior to enter into the Joys of her Lord. That she will be greatly missed is beyond doubt. "Oh, how I will miss her" said one of her friends. What made her so beloved at home and among friends, it was her prayerful heart for her children and her love, the love of Jesus, within her, for friends. Now she rests in peace. On the 3rd of November she went to her heavenly home. May God comfort the bereaved ones. |
