Emma Pray was born in McLain Co., Ill. July 4, 1853. She was married to Thos. Gildersleeve February 2, 1874 and moved with her husband to Clay Co, Nebraska in October, 1876. Departed this life April 9, 1898, leaving a husband, three sons and one daughter to mourn her departure. Funeral services were conducted at the home by G A Hobson; and followed by a large concoutse? of friends her earthly remains were covered to their last resting place to aw?.. the summons of Him at whose voice all graves shall open, and all who sleep in him shall rise to live forevermore.
