  Mrs. Eva M Corey, wife of C E Corey, died of Hepatic Dropsy, at her home at Riverton, Neb. Tuesday May 3, 1898. The remains were brought to Fairfield for interment and funeral services were conducted by Prof OC Hubell, May 5.

  Mrs. Corey was the daughter of Eider and Mrs. Theo Johnson; was a graduate from the Fairfield College; an active worker in the church, and W C T U. Many friends mourn her early death, and join in sympathy with the relatives in their untimely bereavement.
