Chapter III
As Juniors we commenced the year by electing Georgia Lemkuil president; Lena Gerdes, vice-president; Helen Vap, secretary; and Matie Gerdes, treasurer.  Our class sponser was Miss Rizpah Douglas.  Our class was again lacking in members.  Those who did not return were Margaret Lovell and Leslie Ridgeway.  Cleo Morehead, a new member in the class, moved here from Nelson.  During the last half of the school term, Jerrold Congrove, moved to Arkansas.  Our class now consisted of twenty-seven members.
Many things of interest happened during junior year.  Among these was a circus given by the school, which proved a great success.  Then came the Junior-Senior Banquet which was given at the Christian church.
Then came the sad event of losing our classmate "Lois Iliff, who moved to California.  A party was given in her honor at the home of Charles Shivley.  Our junior year went along smoothly.   Clouds of despair and discouragement, that once shadowed our school life, have been cast aside.  When we meet again in the fall we will be as Seniors.
