  Miss Gertie Prosser, who has been sick for some time, died on Wednesday at half past one o'clock. The remains were taken to Edgar this morning for interment.

In Memoriam

  Gertrude M Prosser, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John G. Prosser, was born in Edgar, Neb., Sept 18, 1874. Died in Fairfield, Neb., Mar 9, 1898. She was converted and united with the Baptist church in 1892. She received her education in the Edgar Schools graduating in the class of 1893.

  Gertie was an estimable young lady beloved by all who knew her and her early demise brings a thought of sadness to her host of friends, who yet mourn in the hope of overtaking her in the life to come.
