W G Young came up from Hiawatha Kan.,
Wednesday morning on account of the serious illness of his mother.
Died -Sunday evening, Feb 14. Mrs. G
W Avery. The remains were taken, Tuesday morning to Pewaukee Wisconsin for
interment.
Mrs. Avery has been an invalid
for a number of years, being confined to the home the most of the time. About a
year ago Mr. Avery took her to Saloam Springs, Ark with the hope improving her
health, which was apparently done for the time, but it was only temporary. After
coming home she was unable to go out, and the lamp of life gradually went out
although everything that loving hands could do was done to prolong life.
Mrs. Avery was born in the
city of New York in 1843, and when a child her parents moved to Wisconsin where
she grew to womanhood. In 1884 she came to Spring Ranch to reside, was married
to Mr. Avery Sept 24 1885.
