          1.  Johann Georg¹ Schmidt was born in Pfalzgrafenweiler-Freudenstadt, Wuertt 1759.  He is deceased. 

          He married Anna Maria Kalenbach in Pfalzgrafenweiler-Freudenstadt, Wuertt, about 1789.  Anna was born 1765.  She was the daughter of Georg Kalenbach .  Anna died 4/29/1835 in Gueldendorf, South Russia, at 69 years of age.

                           She married Harry Frantz in Sutton, Clay County, Nebraska, 7/17/1927.  Harry was born 11/17/1903.  Harry died 12/ /1965 in Nebraska, at 62 years of age.
