  Died, at his home, four miles west of Clay Center, Feb 5, 1890, George Walter Cline.

  Mr. Cline was born in Jefferson County, New York, May 4 1824; came to Nebraska in 1876. the immediate cause of his death was la grippe. He leaves a wife and four children. All were in attendance upon his funeral Feb 6. His wife could not be in attendance, being in Lincoln sick. the funeral was conducted by Elder Wright, pastor of the Christian church of his place, and the remains were deposited in the Clay center cemetery.

  Mr Cline has been suffering for years, so his death was the result of a complication of ailments. He had been suffering for some time before death with paralysis.
